Wine Industry Training
QCWT delivers nationally accredited Wine and Hospitality training programs in partnership with Registered Training Organisations as well as up-skilling programs for existing wine industry personnel. The College is an approved Provider for the international WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) awards, which are delivered to industry both on and off campus.
The Queensland College of Wine Tourism is a joint venture between the Department of Education and Training and the University of Southern Queensland. The college opened in March 2007.
A state-of-the-art $8.5 million education and training facility for the Queensland wine tourism industry, the College is located on the campus of Stanthorpe State High School and provides specialist education and training facilities for the wine tourism industry.
Through its training partner, QCWT offers Certificate II Wine Industry Operations. Currently apprenticeships and traineeships are not available for this Certificate within Queensland.

The Bachelor of Wine Technology degree course has been discontinued in 2014 and a Wine Studies Major Course option has been included in the Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree course.
